The newly sprung Department of Hotel Management came into existence in 2012. The department believes in adding value to its students’ learning by designing an ability based curriculum, problem–based learning approach that aims to develop independent learning and innovation based solution skills. The young and multi-disciplinary faculty of department is dedicated to transform it in learning centre par excellence at the National as well as International level. Quality of education and training provided by the Institute help students to emerge as professionally qualified personnel for hospitality and other allied service sectors.

BHM is a four year intensive program which aims to expose the students to the diversity of hospitality industry and equips them with intellectual & leadership capabilities allowing them to move into diverse managerial roles in prestigious organizations. The program is structured in a manner to provide professional education with the latest trends and development in the Hospitality Industry. Pragmatic business simulations & real life professional practices are highlighted in the program that will encourage dynamic & creative thinking required to exceed in today’s hospitality world. Its multi-disciplinary curriculum focuses on critical analysis of management styles & strategic thinking required to succeed in hotel management.

BHM is a four year - eight semester program inclusive of internship semester with hands on experience at work place and professional commercial establishment for developing knowledge & skills, and practice of actual operations. The program delivery includes theory lecture, tutorials and interactive sessions, problem solving & practical sessions, research projects, class presentation, case studies and hotel visits. |

Eligibility Criteria
A pass with 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / Council for Indian School Certificate Examination / State Boards of Secondary Education. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also take admission on provisional basis.
Admission Process
Admissions shall be based on overall assessment of the candidate's performance at 10+2 level followed by personal interview.
